Team: FX In-House Motion Design
The second season of The Old Man demanded a visual representation of the world stage its characters inhabited. To marry its various locations in a harmonious yet mysterious way, we created asymmetrical grid overlap patterns for the footage and found a complementary color scheme to play with warm landscapes and cool urban tones. The type animation utilizes a 'shifting into place' approach, mirroring the mysterious happenings of the show that come to light over the course of the season.
